Surgery

My Doctor’s Surgery Division is fast growing and offers majorly In-patient services specializing in surgeries.

The WHO Surgical and Anaesthesia Care guidelines emphasize the importance of improving access to surgical care since surgery is a successful treatment for many conditions such as cancer, injuries, or obstetric complications.

However, there are five billion people in the world who do not have access to safe, timely, and affordable surgical care and anaesthesia. In developing countries, 90 percent of people lack access to even the most basic surgical services. By making surgery universally accessible, we could save many lives, decrease the incidence of disability and promote economic growth.

My Doctor and WHO share common goals of strengthening health systems to improve the delivery of surgical, obstetric, and anaesthesia care without risking financial ruin, to all people, everywhere, anywhere.

ART Services

My Doctor is partnering with Mildmay and the Ministry of Health to improve access to HIV treatment services as a member of the Community Antiretroviral Therapy Distribution Points in Uganda.

Because the majority of antiretroviral therapy (ART) services provided in resource-limited settings are done so inefficiently, long-term ART adherence and retention is difficult. In Uganda, one way to increase the number of people on life-saving antiretroviral therapy (ART) is by making it available closer to where they live.

Community drug distribution points (CDDPs) provide ART care and treatment to consenting, stable patients in pre-identified community locations. My Doctor is one of the trusted, high-traffic community drug distribution points for antiretroviral treatment (ART).

We are growing a community to connect people to healthcare services through digital solutions.
